Blossom ESL lessons are conducted using a platform called Koala Go. A link will be sent to you before the lesson starts — simply click on the link, enter your child's name, and wait for the teacher to allow your child to enter the classroom.

Koala Go allows for full interactivity — your child will be able to draw and write on the screen, and drag and drop objects in various activities and games. Students will never get bored!

For Koala Go to work smoothly, please use one of the following:
  • An iPad with Safari
  • A Mac with Google Chrome
  • A PC with Google Chrome
Lessons are fully tailored to your child's level and goals. We use a structured curriculum covering vocabulary, grammar, speaking, listening, reading, and writing — all delivered in a fun, engaging way. Visit the Curriculum page to learn more.
Every lesson includes homework tailored to what was covered in class, written feedback from your teacher, and access to the parent progress portal where you can see exactly what has been completed.
We offer 25-minute and 55-minute lessons. 25-minute lessons are great for younger children or as a top-up, while 55-minute lessons give more time to explore topics in depth. Both options are available as single lessons or in packages of 5, 10, or 20.
Single 25-minute lessons are £17 and single 55-minute lessons are £34. Packages offer a discount — 10 lessons at 25 minutes are £155 (£15.50 each) and 10 lessons at 55 minutes are £310 (£31 each). See all packages on the Book a Lesson page.
We ask for at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice may be counted as used. Please contact us as soon as possible if something comes up.

Lessons and packages purchased with Blossom ESL are non-refundable should the student withdraw at any time during the course. However, lessons and packages do not have an expiration date, and students are able to take a break from studying if required.

If your Blossom ESL teacher cancels a lesson for any reason, the lesson will be rescheduled to a date that suits you and your teacher, or a lesson will be added to your package.
Yes! Our website is hosted on Cloudflare's global network which is accessible from mainland China. For lessons, we use Koala Go which works well in China. We also support WeChat for communication — just add us at blossomesl.
After your first lesson, you'll receive a login and password for the parent portal. You can log in at any time to see which lessons have been completed, how many lessons remain in your package, and when the next lesson is scheduled.
